Zimba Council Secretary, Mr. Lubinda Mwala, has urged local contractors to strictly adhere to contracted project timelines, stating that the local authority will not entertain requests for extensions where funds have been fully disbursed and projects can be completed on time.
Speaking during the opening of a contractors and suppliers sensitization meeting held in Zimba this morning, Mr. Mwala emphasized that timely completion of projects, cost-effectiveness, and quality workmanship will be key pillars in the implementation of the 2026 projects.
